Do you have a strong affinity with optimizing banking processes and systems? Being a Junior Client Operations Data Analyst at an internationally operating bank might be perfect for you!


Our client is an international bank and is active in the field of banking, asset management, leasing, insurance and real estate. You will work for the Center of Expertise of Client Data. The team consists of 15 members. The team objective is to create a platform where all client data (worldwide) is recorded into one client database. To accomplish this, the focus is on improving client data quality, coordinating changes in the end-to-end client data flow, creating and monitoring a global client data quality framework and processing data from different locations to one central point. This ensures the bank to be in control and to know its clients. At the same time it prevents the bank against penalties from regulators, as being compliant and keeping a good reputation.


The project team you will join is replacing and improving client data processes by rolling out a new system and a new way of working in the core of the bank. The complexity data processes require continuous collaboration with many stakeholders to set up their key requirements. At the same time you are very critical and focused on implementing smooth and standardized customer data workflows. Your stakeholders consist of both national and international entities and internal departments such as Finance, Risk and the Front Office. Your daily activities have a strong focus on operational tasks:

  • Implementing and monitoring client data in various systems
  • Matching multiple client records to identify and guarantee an correct client data record
  • Identifying data quality shortcomings and act as a liaison for initiating and monitoring a data cleansing process with different global locations
  • Acting as linking pin between data producers and data consumers
  • Participation in process improvement projects


To be successful as a Junior Client Operations Data Analyst, the following should apply:

  • At least a Bachelor degree in Business or Economics (or similar);
  • 0 – 2 years of relevant work experience;
  • Good eye for process improvements within the bank;
  • Affinity with the financial sector and banking products;
  • Operational mindset;
  • Pragmatic and result-oriented;
  • real team player;
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, go-getter;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Excellent English language skills.
